Louise works as an Extension Associate for NC State University. She helps the Fish and Wildlife Service build collaborative partnerships to support on-the-ground conservation across the Southeast region. She is also a founding member of Shoreline Conservation Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the sustainability and resiliency of coastal and nearshore ecosystems through science, research, and conservation action.
